Oh cool! First post! Today I went to an auction and found two treasures... a mahogany coffee table with lyre-shaped insets for 25 cents and a box of seven vintage garden gnomes! $10.25 later I'm home cleaning up the gnomes and getting to know their endearing little faces. Also hoping DH won't flip out over yet another furniture upgrade I've added to his list of to-dos. The legs are wobbly on the table and it needs refinishing, but otherwise an elegant useful, all-wood table. Not bad for a two-hour outing and minimal expense.
